Invitation to Worship

To all who are weary and need rest
To all who mourn and long for comfort
To all those who wander and are looking for a story
To all who feel isolated and miss community
To all who are broken and want healing
To all who feel worthless and wonder if God cares
To all who are oppressed and yearn for justice
To all who fail and desire strength
To all who sin and need a Savior
To all who hunger and thirst for righteousness
And to whomever will come–
This church opens wide her doors and offers welcome
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ

Scripture Reading

Matthew 11:25–30 (ESV)

[25] At that time Jesus declared, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; [26] yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. [27] All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. [28] Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Opening Prayer

Fill our worship with grace, Lord Jesus Christ,
that every thought, word, and deed
may be acceptable to you,
our Rock and our Redeemer.
Amen.

Church Planting Video

Learn about our brothers and sisters at King's Cross Church in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. We are glad to support King’s Cross through our partnership with Acts 29. Learn more about the churches we are supporting through Acts 29 in 2020.

Family Prayer

Take a few moments to pray together for King’s Cross Church. They have asked that we join them in praying for the resources (both human and financial) needed to continue the mission of the church. Pray also that the curious newcomers would come to saving faith in Jesus. Pray that the Lord would raise up even more leaders and disciple-makers to strengthen a healthy gospel culture as they apply the gospel to their whole lives.

Please also pray for your brothers and sisters in The Town Church family, for our Leadership Advisory Team, and for a smooth reopening process.
